Hey! I’m a F.R.S.-FNRS Postdoctoral Researcher at ULiège (Géographie). I study the interactions between the ocean, the sea ice, the atmosphere and the Antarctic ice sheet. In addition to understand how these elements interact together now, I try to project their evolution and how this will influence the climate not only over Antarctica but also at a global scale (sea level rise). I work with many computing methods (such as numerical models and artificial intelligence) … but desperately without going out into the field to make observations.
So far, I see Antarctica as little colored squares (aka pixels) but I hope that one day I will see the beauty of this continent directly! Until then, I aspire to share my discoveries, create new passions and help people understand the dangers threatening Antarctica.
I’m a happy husband and proud dad of a little girl. My other passion is triathlon. But to be honest, I love cycling, swimming a little and running a little less (I hate it). Although, I wouldn't say no to mountain trails, my favorite environment!
