Postdoctoral Researcher
Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain)
I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Earth and Life Institute) in Belgium. After a PhD on the influence of El Niño-Southern Oscillation on European climate (kind of, ehm, far from the concept of “polar”!), I recently embarked on a new adventure in Antarctica. But no, not literally! With the help of climate models, satellite data and a good dose of patience, I try to give some sense to the inter-annual and long-term variability of Antarctic sea ice… All in the comfort of my own desk. Joining APECS sounded like a good plan to learn a bit more about polar regions, so here I am!
